Full-time, required from July 2025 or sooner.

Contract:

Permanent, 37 hours per week.

Salary: 

JG3 24,791 to 25,183 (pay award pending)

Baytree School currently supports 120 learners aged 3-19 years with profound and complex SEND. We are situated
across two Campuses, one in Weston Super Mare and one in Clevedon, which opened in 2024, this campus will
continue to grow over the next few years.

An opportunity has arisen for a Site Assistant to join the team. This position would suit someone who is willing to
learn, is very practical and able to take initiative to continue to develop and enhance the school environment.

We are looking for a site manager assistant who:

• Has good verbal and written communication skills.
• Is computer literate and able to use IT packages effectively.
• Is passionate about ensuring the school environment is exemplary
• Has the skills to work practically – such as painting and small maintenance jobs.
• Can build positive relationships with a wide variety of people including the wider school team, our learners,
contractors and visitors to the school.
• Can work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operational running of the school building.
• Can follow direction as well work independently
• Understands the importance of health and safety in a school.
• Has a commitment to developing their own skills.

Our Clevedon Campus is currently open Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, and the successful candidate will
be required to work flexibly within those hours, either an early shift, managing the opening of the site or on a late
shift and managing the closing of the site.
