Update to the Baytree Expansion 

You may have heard through the local newspapers and via social media posts that after an unsuccessful judicial review application, we are now able to start building the Baytree expansion at Brookfield Walk, Clevedon. 

This much needed expansion will provide an additional 65-85 school places to meet the rising number of children and young people requiring a Baytree placement. 

We are delighted that the construction work can now commence. The initial ground work will take place this month so we are ready to start properly onsite at the end of March/beginning of April. 

As we are finally in a position to progress this project forward, we will ensure regular communication of the development is shared with our families. We are excited about the opportunities to ensure all our learners can be involved; this may include creating art work to be displayed on hoarding around the site to potentially immersive work experience opportunities. 

We will ensure updates are communicated via the school website and the Bugle.
